December 2020 will mark his 250th birthday.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nLudwig van Beethoven is one of the most important composers of all time and is still one of the most performed composers in the world today. In addition to the world-famous symphonies and piano works, the opera \u201cFidelio\u201d, the \u201cMissa Solemnis\u201d and numerous chamber music works, Beethoven also created numerous small pieces of music. Out of this oeuvre one small piece that every piano student has probably played before, is standing out: the short, rondo-like piano piece in A minor (WoO 59) \u201cF\u00fcr Elise\u201d composed in 1810.<br \/>\n<\/div><\/div><div class=\"gdc_column gdc_chalf\"><div class=\"gdc_inner\"><center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.motivgruppe-musik.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/2020-12-02.jpg\" width=\"180\" class=\"alignnone\" \/><br \/>\n<strong>Romania 28.7.2020<\/strong><br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.motivgruppe-musik.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/2020-12-01.jpg\" width=\"220\" class=\"alignnone\" \/><br \/>\n<strong>Netherlands Antilles 22.10.1997<\/strong><br \/>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><br \/>\nThe video from 2019 shows the Chinese pianist Lang Lang (* 1982) with his interpretation of \u201cF\u00fcr Elise\u201d. Of the piece, Lang Lang says: \u201cFor me it is very romantic, and light, like a feather. It has to come from nowhere and it has to touch people. It can\u2019t just be treated as background music.
